Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank is a Scheduled Bank established on 30 November 1983 under the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976. It is sponsored by State Bank of India in collaboration with the Government of India and the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Its area of operation is the entire State of Arunachal Pradesh.
The Bank focuses on expanding its branch network and introducing new products and services using current technologies to provide banking services to the people of Arunachal Pradesh.

Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank is a Scheduled Bank established on 30 November 1983 and sponsored by State Bank of India in collaboration with the Government of India and the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The Head Office is situated at Shiv Mandir Road, E-Sector, Naharlagun, District Papum Pare, Arunachal Pradesh.
The Bank operates across all districts of Arunachal Pradesh. The area covered is around 84,000 square kilometres with a population of 13.82 lakh, according to the 2011 Census. It is located in the Trans-Himalayan region, with scenery ranging from the plains of the Brahmaputra valley to snow-clad mountains in the north.
The Bank is committed to providing banking facilities to every segment of the population while expanding its branch network in a planned manner. It is introducing technologies and multiple channels to provide banking and insurance services, including bancassurance services with SBI Life Insurance and SBI General Insurance.
